This is a GREAT book! Kay, I think, must be one of the most under-rated fantasy authors of all time. My theory is it's because he writes mainly stand alone, self contained stories. Not the trilogy or longer that many fantasy fans are accustomed to.

I'm part of the problem. This is the 3rd Guy Gavriel Kay book I've read (Tigana and The Lions of Al-Rassan) and I've absolutely loved them, but I still havn't read The Fionavar Tapestry or any of his other works though I own most.

Shame on me. He's one of the best!
