Re: Whee, I actually have a list this time! Mostly rereads. Danae al'Thor Send a noteboard - 01/10/2010 10:01:41 PM
As usual, let us know what you currently are reading and what you hope to read over the course of the month.

I'm rereading The Mabinogion (trans. by Jeffrey Gantz), and Above the Snowline by Steph Swainston.

I might read - I've been planning to read Consider Phlebas, but I'm never in the right mood for it.

Also by Steph Swainston:
The Year of Our War
No Present Like Time
The Modern World

I would love to reread Never Let Me Go, and maybe I will.

I have a Real World book club on Monday, for which I am (re)reading Keep The Change by Nirupama Subramanium, and I might have Sunday free, when I might read The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver.

On the reread list is The Salt Roads by Nalo Hopkinson, and maybe The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbary.

I have a yen for Aldous Huxley's Island, which I nebulously recall as being "that nation of hippy people who don't get angst and thus read books very boringly".
