There are lots of good books in all genres--fiction and non-fiction--that lots of people will never read. That's just the way it is. Reading is a time-consuming hobby and many people don't have all that much spare time. It makes them much more selective in what they will choose to buy and read. Also, reading a lot can become very expensive--another reason to be selective.

This site attracts people who tend to read more than the average person, so don't base how much you read on this site or any other site that is book-themed. Instead, read the reviews and commentaries, and if you find something that really interests you, read it. The joy of reading is a good story or an interesting topic, not how much you read.
