Every country has people who write. However, none of the people you mentioned were ever on the reading list for any college-level class that I or anyone I knew in college ever took. None of those people ever make any lists as "great" authors in the canon of world literature and philosophy. Kierkegaard and Ibsen do make those lists. There might be someone else.

Either way, it's irrelevant. I'm not likely to read any of them, in the original or in translation.
