You just have your undies in a bundle because they aren't popular. It's okay, though. America is a populous nation with an amazing array of inventors, scientists, and all sorts of other creative people in its history, yet it hasn't produced very many good authors.

My point about college was to differentiate thinking people from people who consider Dan Brown "literature" or who say they "like to read" because they read tabloids while standing in the check-out aisle at the grocery store where they buy imitation cheese flavored product to put on their onion rings.
