Watch out for the non lighted amazon cover

There is something wrong with it and it causes the kindle to freeze and reboot constantly. Amazon is now admitting that there is something wrong and is offering $60 credits to people who have the defective model, which I used to get the lighted version for free.
It doesn't happen to all of the covers, but there is a major issue. You can find the talk about it on the amazon web site and most of the kindle forums. No issue for the version of the cover with the light.
Also i am 100% sure it is the cover, as when I took the cover off my kindle and put it on my girlfriends hers started having the same issue, and mine stopped. It has been fine ever since I took the cover off, and I am just awaiting the new free cover from amazon to come in the mail.
