Martin's a fat older bloke. Ripe for a coronary or a stroke. I certainly don't wish ill on him, but if he was serious about finishing the series before he died he'd be concentrating on writing it and leaving all the other projects until afterwards.
I expect we'll get ADWD sometime this year and one more book before he passes away, but I give it 25-50% he'll live long enough to complete ASoIaF.
