Let's start with my short review of "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll.

Going into this book I was a bit iffy. I wasn't sure I was going to like it. After finishing it I can't say that my opinion was changed any. Maybe there was a deeper meaning to this book that I just didn't understand, but it just seemed like a nonsense book written by a fifth grader. Unless one really likes nonsensical stories I wouldn't recommend it. If you really want it Amazon has it for free in the Kindle store.

Next up is "Soul Identity" by Dennis Batchelder.

Product Description
You can't take it with you... but what if you could? Most people believe their souls outlive their bodies. Most people would find an organization that tracks their souls into the future and passes on their banked money and memories compelling. Scott Waverly isn't like most people. He spends his days finding and fixing computer security holes. And Scott is skeptical of his new client's claim that they have been calculating and tracking soul identities for almost twenty-six hundred years. Are they running a freaky cult? Or a sophisticated con job? Scott needs to save Soul Identity from an insider attack. Along the way, he discovers the importance of the bridges connecting people's lives.

I greatly enjoyed this book. The characters a bit two dimensional and the plot a bit out there, but Mr. Batchelder makes it all work. The characters are taken across the world and back, they interact very well, and are mostly believable. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a quick easy read. I give it 4 stars out of 5. I look forward to buying the second book of the series next week. Amazon also has this one for free on the Kindle. Check it out.
Kirk: Spock, you want to know something? Everybody’s human.
Spock: I find that remark…insulting.
