I'm getting mixed results. Kaldric Send a noteboard - 13/01/2011 02:55:05 PM
Kaldricling I (who already loves books) wants me to keep reading long into the night. Kaldricling II is hit and miss, sometimes listening, other times wandering off. Kaldriclings III and IV won't stop fighting over my lap (even though it is large enough for both to share) long enough to listen, if they don't run off to play (or, like last night, when Kaldricling IV somehow got a hold of my hair clippers and gave himself a little haircut before I realized what he was doing).

We have finished Diary of a Wimpy Kid (Should I count these toward my 50-book challenge? That kind of feels like cheating.), which was an amusing story. It was about what I expected, and I am sure the sequels will be just as lightly entertaining. We are now reading Alcatraz versus the Evil Librarians, from the signed and personalized copy I got for my daughter for Christmas. She is very interested in finding out why Brandon Sanderson wrote "Rutabaga!" on the title page.

P.S. The "NSSP" is implied.

Of course, [Quixote] carried it a bit too far. He thought that every windmill was a giant. That's insane. But, thinking that they might be...
