I liked the first set the best but I am liking the one he is writing now as well. I actaully liked his Gap book betters but they are a little more twisted and darker.

Try his web page, Donaldson does a running interview with his fans that is interesting.


I don't think I've ever read anything that has the protagonist be a genuinely unlikable person....much less a rapist. And then some of the stuff that goes down in The Illearth War (specifically with the Giants—Kinslaughterer was just creepy) was pretty dark.

That interview sounds cool though. I'll have to check that out.
