Still trying to decide whether the main character was really jumping through time in his own body or if he was just delusional. Was the alien abduction real? Perhaps some more insightful people can offer me their observations on the book.
That being said, I did enjoy the book. Vonnegut seems to insert some autobiographical elements into the story, even placing himself into one of Billy Pilgrim's jumps. His anti-war stance with this book is pretty obvious and I have to say the most powerful anti-war voices are the ones who had to deal with the horrors of it. I liked the writing style and will be taking a look at some more of Vonnegut's works. I'm thinking Cat's Cradle will be next.
