ebooks can't (or shouldn't!) be taken in the bathtub, or the pool, or the lake. ebooks don't crinkle when you turn the page. They don't have a scent. They don't have notes scribbled in the margins by my deceased grandda or aunt.

Real books don't crash; they only fall apart with much wear. Real books are my favorite house decor. I don't get eye strain or nausea from reading a real book. I have so much beautiful shelf art from my books. Real books don't have to be charged.

Hmm snoopcester - 28/01/2011 12:42:39 PM 1329 Views
I think it's completely unsurprising that an online bookseller would sell more ebooks. Rebekah - 28/01/2011 10:05:10 PM 1256 Views

You can wrap your Kindle in clingfilm (gladwrap) or a transparent plastic bag. *NM* Tim - 31/01/2011 12:34:00 PM 674 Views
Of course Amazon is selling more e-books than printed books. They're the main e-book seller. Tim - 30/01/2011 11:39:12 AM 1272 Views
the free books don't count as a sale Deadsy - 31/01/2011 08:01:39 AM 1262 Views
Where does it say they aren't counting the free ones? Tim - 31/01/2011 08:10:23 AM 1305 Views
I guess you're assuming it does and I'm assuming it doesn't. Deadsy - 31/01/2011 08:14:52 AM 1340 Views
When you buy one of the free books it does have a price on the page. Rebekah - 31/01/2011 08:38:56 AM 1205 Views
According to the Amazon press release, free books are excluded - snoopcester - 31/01/2011 12:01:48 PM 1408 Views
So that actually means printed books outsold e-books by 20% Tim - 31/01/2011 12:27:37 PM 1254 Views
