When have you ever cared about any release date at all? You have set so many and watched them go by (like the Jets Super Bowl chances).


GRRM has never set any release date, at all. Amazon has, but Amazon plucks dates out of thin air on a regular basis. If people choose to believe Amazon, that's their business, not the author's.
