So, is there one overall story arc to the series, or just a bunch of smaller arcs that seem to come together at the end?

There is one major arc, but it consists of lots of smaller stories that seem to be separate and disconnected, but the last volume reveals how they impact on one another. There's also a fair number of unconnected side-stories, and Esslemont's books also impact on the situation as well.

I disagree with the characterizations you provide for Bonehunters and DoD. Macharius - 14/03/2011 01:07:15 PM 893 Views
Yeah, I'm with John here... DoD ranks among the better books of the second half of the series. *NM* Legolas - 14/03/2011 09:57:04 PM 394 Views
Well, clearly you two have no taste. *NM* jh - 15/03/2011 07:26:51 AM 375 Views
