It was excellent to begin with, lost a little pace and fun towards the middle, got a bit better towards the end, but then finished a little too neatly for my tastes, leaving me with a vague sense of dissatisfaction.
Actually, from what I have read by Powers, this one was the most consistent in quality, and had the best story to follow. I do agree about the neat ending, though. Seemed a bit... off.
Hm. I have heard mixed things about Powers, but I like his brain enough to read more of his books.
What'd you think of it?
All in all, it was worth the time spent reading it. It wasn't a lot of time, with it being a quick read and all that. I'd not call it a literary masterpiece, but I am satisfied.
Fair description.
I think I will need to reread it before I have a proper feeling for it.
Don't think I ever did that.
Hm.
