I did read Wise Man's Fear, and it was excellent, but then the next book I read was Warbreaker, which I certainly was not anticipating. I didn't like Vivenna at first, because she was as annoying as it is humanly possible to get, and compared to Rothfuss's writing ability Sanderson is little better than a child... But it was a highly enjoyable book in the end, and I'm glad I finished it. Unfortunately, I haven't done much other reading, aside from two thirds of the Orestria.
