But Moiraine (and Siuan, aside from her being silly in that subplot about her and Bryne) are good, strong female characters. As are most of the Aiel women (Amys, Sorilea, Melaine). Cadsuane, too.


CLARIFICATION: To be sure, "good" here means "in the context of WoT-i.e. in comparison to the male characters," not "good in the context of general literature." :P
