Up there with the Great Hunt and a few others.
The ending was so powerful and sad. "Charyou Tree" still sends shivers down my back.

I would have liked it better if it was just a prequel instead of in the continuity of the series. It just sucked to have waited 6 years for a book and then have it basically be a prequel and barely move the story. I mean, it was 12 years from the time Wastelands was published until Wolves of the Calla.
