It was in fantastic condition (especially considering it was an 1896 edition) other than the slightly musty smell, but I got rid of about 90% of that by sealing it in a small box with a LOT of charcoal for two weeks. It's now wedged between a Zola book and the complete works of Oscar Wilde in my library, which is very dry.
