Libraries are great, but I could never subsist entirely off of them. For instance, this month I read Brandon Sanderson's works. No way I could pull that off with a library; I'd have to wait weeks between each book, if the library carried it at all.

I'm curious. What the hell kind of library do you go to that might not have Sandersons books? I mean, that sounds absolutely silly. Further, I also find it hard to believe you'd have to wait long. My family is from a small town in Maine, and our library has like 2-3 copies of each book. I mean, its current, well selling material.

Sometimes books are worth the price. :P
