I will not start to read the series until it is done, that's for sure ursidae Send a noteboard - 06/05/2011 07:47:20 PM
I have waited 12 years for WoT and although waiting is nice from a community and theory-making standpoint, I don't want to wait ten years for this series.

I have read The Way of Kings so I will have to wait 15 years or so for that series to be complete, but Sanderson has a firm commitment to his readers so I doubt there will more than 2 years between books.

He does suffer from a bad case of over-optimism.Check out the road to publication section in the Wikipedia article for aDwD.

GRRM was hopeful of completing it in 2009!

Additionally contrast the 2 month turnaround in the editing to the over 2 years that Ian Tregillis faced.

That being said cant wait for aDwD.

Sorry for the confused post :-)
