The end of a series Ryan Send a noteboard - 12/05/2011 06:40:09 AM
As time goes on, I've learned that everything has to have an end. Today's quickpoll reminded me of this. With books, film, and other media franchises, series, etc. all have an ending.

How does everyone feel when a favorite series ends? Glad that its over? Saddened that it is the end? A mixture of emotions?

For myself, I'm excited about the resolution of the plot. (Hopefully) there is a resolution. At the same time, when I turn that final page, or the end credits roll I'll take a breath and think for a while. An ending has come. This story, world, work that I have enjoyed and been engrossed in is over. There may never be more. For me there is touch of sadness, until I remember that all I have to do is reread, or hit the play button again and I can start my journey all over.
The past is just that, the past. You can only truly live by looking to the future!
