But I hate approachign the end of even standalone books that are good. I consider the end to be very important in literature, and so I tend to worry about it beforehand. And when I have read a long, good, series of books with good characters, I tend to be sad because I will no longer get to experience them in new settings (unless some idiot decides to film them).
