Kids have to be given boundaries even if you know they are going to pass those boundaries. Everything I have seen shows that kids exposed to trauma have more problems then kids who are not. Why on earth to believe that protecting them from that is bad? Do you have anything beyond your opposition to authority to make you believe that kids exposed to traumatic situations make better adults?
