Sanderson loves epic fantasy and he is planning on making this one very epic. It is a good story but it takes a while to develop the characters and the story line. I liked it but it was much slower than Mistborn and the characters are not as interesting. He really doesn't reveal enough of the back story to his world yet to know how interesting that will be. I will read the next one.
