Thanks for the review. This one and Jo Walton's review on Tor's site are enough for me to feel excited and optimistic about the book. Though I was never truly worried, because even though I thought Feast had a lot of problems, I still enjoyed the world and the writing and the characters.

I had been hoping to re-read the series before starting this one, but there is no way that I have the self-control to set Dance aside for that long now. Hopefully I haven't forgotten too much.

Question: does the book feature any Arya chapters? As much as I'm looking forward to seeing Tyrion, Dany, and Jon again after so long (I wasn't even in college yet the last time I read them!), Arya remains my favourite character. I'm hoping to see some more of Jaime too.
