I thought that too, but it doesn't fit. Cannoli Send a noteboard - 19/07/2011 09:57:29 PM
I did catch that, but they didn't really tell us WHERE he is going to get Rickon, and since we didn't read anything from Rickon's perspective or anyone with him, I felt that wasn't really the same sort of news. We've had plenty of false alarms where Ned Stark's kids are concerned.

Yes they did, he's going to Skagos. As for it being the 'same sort' of news, we haven't really ever had a Rickon perspective, so I don't expect that we will.

How did Asha & a four-year old with no transportation and minimal food or money start heading south from Winterfell and end up on an island off the northeast coast, when Winterfell is closer to the other coast? Has it really been that long? In the time it takes a party consisting entirely of older and fitter people to walk from Winterfell straight up the road to the Wall, the slower-moving party crossed most of the North and sailed to an island?

The only other notion that fits Davos' reaction, IMO, is if they went into the Neck, and he's heard about the kind of things the Ironborn at Moat Cailin seem to have discovered first hand.
