It has been a year for me as well but I remember one...when they figured out that the creatures they were using for slaves were the creatures that were the great evil that was likely coming back..aka they were about to get free will again (and likely be a little pissed).

That's only Jasnah's theory. We don't know if it's true or not.

I see your point, but I think that when Shallan reads Jasnah's research and confirms it Sanderson is telling us we can pretty much accept it as true.
That's how I read it at least.


It's just that my red herring alarm sets of whenever a character is absolutely sure of something but we haven't seen any actual proof. And neither Jasnah nor Shallan has proven the theory, even though the logic may be sound.
