Many websites were reporting earlier that there had been a sudden upsurge in betting on Bob Dylan to win, so when the Nobel committee got wind that their diabolical, subversive plan to give the award to a singer was discovered, they picked the name based on a series of clicks on the random article button on Wikipedia.
That stupid idea posited above is probably almost as logical as whatever actually happend in the selection process.
