Was that one of the proposed Russian Book Club books? Rebekah Send a noteboard - 10/10/2011 06:46:01 PM
It's very off-beat, it has a pop-intellectualism to it, it's a fast read and it's fun. There is perhaps a tiny element of sadness to it, but not really a very strong one. The Russian language version came with a CD with music on it that was related to the book - I'm not sure if the English-language version has that, but it's fun.

I've picked this up and looked at it a few times. It does indeed look like a good read. I'll try it soon. Thanks.

Plus, for some reason it's the only Pelevin book that women consistently seem to like.

Heh.
