Over the next few days, I'm going to be posting within this thread my reviews of the five shortlisted titles for the Young Peoples' Literature category of the 2011 National Book Awards. Yes, this is the category where someone mistook Shine for Chime, but despite that infamous snafu, there are some wonderful books in this category (I'm currently reading Chime and have finished the other four books). Hopefully, some of you might be curious by one or more of these works.
