I need to read 13 books this month if I want to get to 50.

That may actually happen. Probably not, but it's possible.
So far this month I have read Tales from Watership Down by Richard Adams and The Domino Pattern by Timothy Zahn.
Next up I have Immanuel's Veins by Ted Dekker, Decline and Fall by Evelyn Waugh, The Dispossessed by Ursula K. Le Guin, and The Cabala by Thornton Wilder, which I'm reading for my other challenge.
I'll also finish Novel Voices edited by Jennifer Levasseur and Kevin Rabalais. I've been reading it off and on for over a year, during those times between library trips when it was the only book I have that I've not yet read. I'll have to acquire something equally tedious to take its place.
So after those I would still need to read six more books, and I never did read one in Spanish...
I'll just have to see how it goes.
