Of course, the emphatics only appear in Arabic loanwords, but considering how many of those there are...


If I have to put diacritical marks on loan words and not pronounce them like natives when writing (fiancée), then it's just one more thing to learn to write correctly (since I doubt I'll be speaking Persian on a conversational level in the near future). Annoying, but also like what I've had to learn how to do before when using foreign expressions in English.
