The restriction on settings from ancient worlds to medieval... is this only for the post-apocalyptic period, or does this extend to any mentions of the period before the apocalypse?
The primary focus should be on the post-apoc period, so you shouldn't be spending too long before the apocalypse.
But as noted in the release, you can do a modern day world (or whenever) regressed to swords and such after an apocalypse (like all technology is destroyed...it's now hundreds of years later on Earth).
I'm editing an anthology of original post-apoc fantasy stories. We're now taking submissions.
