I have plans:
Finishing Shippey's book on Tolkien, finishing Ghostwritten, The Remains of the Day&c.
All will be abandoned immediately as soon as I get my hands on Harkaway's new novel, which should be out tomorrow in all sensible places (heaven knows when I'll get it).
Well, Angelmaker arrived, so it is now at the top of the list. I also got sidetracked from Shippey because, having red the chapter on The Hobbit, I felt I should read The Hobbit. And I have a glorious annotated version of that book, which I haven't read as closely as I perhaps should have.
