But maybe this book is?
Or maybe the one on Amazon is a novella (she won a Locus award for it this year) and the book expands on it with more stories.

Pretty Monsters consists of about 2/3 stories taken from her first two collections that are a bit more teen-friendly, with a couple more newer additions along the same lines.
Will be interesting to see if the UK release is the same book.
Page length is the same, the cover art is the same (which is a good thing, since Shaun Tan does the artwork and he's akin to a drawing god these days in some circles), and from what I've seen, the stories are in the same order as the hardcover.

Having read Link, I doubt it's really YA... she's hard to describe, though. But utterly awesome. *NM*

Indeed. She's definitely not YA, in my opinion.

It's not a novella, but rather a remixing of her stories
