I enjoyed that book, but mainly for the scenes with Vader, Palpatine, and Tarkin..... Anonymous2000 Send a noteboard - 19/02/2012 02:01:12 AM
.....not due to the additional storyline or characters.

This book is much, much better. Luceno is essentially telling Lucas' story here. The characters and destinations are already set and Luceno shows us how we all got there. There are not any main characters created solely by him. It is a truly remarkable lead in into E1/Phantom Menace and actually some of the ending runs concurrently with the movie, very interesting stuff!

Seriously, any question that you had on characters or events that set-up E1 is covered in this book.

Give it a go!
