I still see the series primarily as their story of defeat, betrayal, revenge and eventually redemption. At least I hope so.
Which means I don't see a Stark character dying anymore (unless it's heroically and with purpose). Beyond that, not many characters are safe. Tyrion is too much everyone's favorite to kick the bucket. I hope.

A Jon-Daenerys coalition or even marriage seems likely just by the name of the whole series. But also too predictable. Or, who knows, they will be the ultimate enemies. Then again, considering the current status, Jon has other problems for now

This really has been Martin's great gift with his series: You can't predict much of anything. He just has to move a little faster now. There is a TV show on his heels.
