I haven't read either of those A Deathwatch Guard Send a noteboard - 07/04/2012 11:52:47 PM
But in any case, wouldn't it be bad for something to be liked by everyone? It's like when movies are made in an attempt to appeal to the largest market possible, which results primarily in dumbing them down. For something to appeal to everyone, it has to be a pretty piece of fluff without any interesting ideas or concepts or revolutionary aspects in it... which is boring. And it would mean that it would be liked, but not loved, and certainly not remembered. Only even then there would be people that would dislike it purely for its attempts to be liked by everyone, so it most likely really is impossible. Something like Harry Potter is probably the closest it ever gets.
