I have been considering that, too; but looking up 20 years of reads is a daunting prospect.
They do have recommendations for individual books, though. Some are generated by the website, and some are recommended by people.
the individual books thing is more of a "You liked Gene Wolfe? Try Terry Goodkind!" system, which really is quite unfair.
