Racine: Oeuvres Complètes Volume I (which contains all of his theatrical works), is estimated to arrive on Friday at my home here in the US, because I chose éclair shipping.
I bought a Stefan Zweig novel and Thomas Mann's Doktor Faustus from amazon.de and the two latest Montanelli volumes reprinted in the Storia d'Italia series from amazon.it, as well as the Aretino plays Talanta and L'ipocrita and Campanella's Città del Sole.
This site, combined with amazon's various incarnations, is terrible for my attempts at staying in a monthly budget.

Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

My list of French literature I've read is extremely short, so, um, Racine? Yourcenar?

Okay, I looked at Don Carlos. I see no resemblance to Don Juan.

I mentioned it because Don Juan appears in it, but is not the star of it

I have the two-volume anthology of French poetry from Pléiade (book series, not the poet group).

You could read the world's first Sci-Fi novel, Lucian of Samosata's Ἀληθῆ διηγήματα.

Having read more about that, I'm tempted to say genre fiction has always been bad.
