how is that grammatical for you? i don't know any people who would think that sentence is ok.
"here" has no referent coherent to the sentence - when you take it to mean rafo, the "in america" renders the sentence ungrammatical...because rafo isn't in america, and that makes the sentence disjointed... i'd have said "only by americans is esslemont misspelled here"
