I do have to wonder why it's taking longer to write the Dresden books now that he's no longer writing the Codex Alera anymore... I mean, he was writing the other series concurrently with Changes and Turn Coat, and they only took a year each.
And finished July, so just over 6months for a novel, he's a pretty fast writer. It's not so much he is writing slower as he is just not writing, or he is writing other stuff, tons of short stories for anthologies etc. When he does get onto the books though, they come out just as fast as always.
The next Dresden Files book Cold Days is out on November 27!
