Re: I have to agree... Nate Send a noteboard - 01/09/2012 01:10:33 AM
This whole Felurian bit seems a little irrelevant to me. I mean we already know Kvothe is awesome, what more evidence do we need? Is it in there just to show that she too is scared of the Chandrian? It seems a little long and drawn out...

He got his shaed cloak from her, which may be important later. He learned a lot of new things about the creation of Fae and the long-ago war between shapers and namers, and some more about how the moon works, going between the two worlds, all of which I believe will play a central role in what goes wrong for the world. He got to meet the evil prophecy creature in the tree, which may play an important role in the future. So not entirely irrelevant, and that's just off the top of my head from memory.

You know, I misread the Cthaeh to be the tree itself, and I'm a little bummed it's not. *NM* - 01/09/2012 11:26:07 AM 554 Views

I agree with the other responses, and IIRC wasn't Felurian's name capitalized in that section? - 01/09/2012 11:04:16 PM 1187 Views
Well it certainly is capitalized in Kvothe's narration... - 03/09/2012 12:45:34 PM 1235 Views
