I will confess that I bought two books on World War I (the Tuchman double feature and Beatty's "what if" book, 1914) after swearing off buying more books. But I was on vacation and went to a bookstore that was very special to me back in 1990-1992, and I wanted to give them the patronage. If I had bought the books on amazon I would have saved $20.
