Only stands to reason, though, since people tend to bet for people they have heard about. And those don't usually get the nobel prize. 
But unless the winner ends up being a Mongolian yurt builder who writes about ox blood pudding being a metaphor for the loss of nomadic communalism, I suspect someone on that list will be the winner shortly.
