If I am going to read a book I am not going to sell it, and I would never set an artificial deadline like that when my time for reading is dependent on how much work I have. I also generally try to make sure that I am only reading 2-3 books at a time as a maximum, and if I can help it I only read one book at a time. What you inflict on your own books is your own business, but I would never sign on to a plan like that absent some compelling threat of violence.
