I am about 100 pages into Die Kultur der Renaissance in Italien (just finished Part I or Erster Abschnitt as it is styled). I'm also going to finish Procopius (about halfway through the Secret History now), though I can't bring myself to read much of it at any time because (1) his style is a bit aggravating and (2) the substance is really repetitive - it's like listening to someone gossip for hours on end.
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.
