For example, I'm surprised why Madame Bovary isn't higher on the list, and why Ayn Rand made it at all given the fact that virtually no one who reads her books really LIKES them; they just like the philosophy or they don't. A few of them I've never even heard of, too.
Also, I was surprised to see that no one at this board was talking about having any reading challenges for 2013.
