The Roman de la Rose doesn't have the full text. Tom Send a noteboard - 23/02/2013 02:40:23 AM
It discusses it extensively, quotes from it liberally, discusses the world that created it, and has lots of wonderful illuminated pages and other things, but it doesn't have the full text. I had to order the Lettres Gothiques version (I have Marie de France in that, it was terribly flimsy but I reinforced the cover with clear strapping tape).
Political correctness is the pettiest form of casuistry.

– Procopius
